The service

CleanGrab is a free online tool that removes background noise from a voice recording (hum, hiss, fans, air conditioning, traffic, street noise, keyboard clatter) using DeepFilterNet3, an open-source speech-enhancement model, running on our own hardware. It is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It is tuned for voice/speech; results on music or non-speech audio may be poor. Heavy echo and reverb are reduced, not fully removed. Quality varies with the source material.

Fair use

Only upload audio you have the right to process. You are solely responsible for what you upload and for how you use the resulting cleaned file.
Don't abuse the service: no automated bulk scraping, no attempts to overload the processing queue, no circumventing rate limits.
We may block traffic that threatens the stability or legality of the service.

Ownership

Uploading a recording does not transfer any rights to us, and cleaning a recording does not give us any rights to it. You own the rights to your own audio; we don't claim any rights over your uploads or the cleaned output.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanGrab is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including loss of files or claims relating to uploaded content. Files are processed automatically and deleted shortly after; keep your own originals.

These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
